Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Back Porch Layout Almanac. The substance of them is that the site publishes general information and cannot stand behind decisions made from it.

Not Advice for Your Job

Nothing published here is professional advice. Kitchen renovation work varies with the building, the site and the local rules, and only somebody who has examined the actual work can advise on it.

Reuse of Content

The text and layout of this site belong to its publisher. Quoting a short passage with a link back is welcome; republishing a page in full is not.

Revisions to These Terms

Terms can change over time. Whatever appears here when a reader visits is the operative version.

External Links

Where an outside site is linked, it is because it is relevant. It is not because it is vouched for: its content and conduct are its own responsibility.

Accuracy

The material is prepared carefully and still cannot be warranted as complete or up to date. No guarantee is offered that every statement is correct or current: codes are amended, products are discontinued, and prices move.

Limitation of Liability

Acting on this material is done at the reader's own risk. No liability is accepted for loss or cost arising from acting on published guidance, to the fullest extent the law permits.
